Song of the Day: A Million Years- Teddy Geiger
The I Find Hope Project is looking for thirteen AMAZING photos of something you find hope in. We've just launched The I Find Hope Project Shop and one of the things we offer is an amazing calendar. And we want each month to show something you find hope in.
The twelve finalists will be featured on one of the months of the calendar.
The WINNER will be featured on not only the cover of the calendar but on official I Find Hope Project posters, mouse pads, ornaments, and post cards. Their art or photography will also be featured in the book that the Project is releasing sometime next year.
If you've ever wanted to be noticed for your art or photography, this is your chance!
Please send artwork or photographs to ifindhopeproject@yahoo.com

All artwork, photography, and any wording should be ORIGINAL. Any copyright infringements will immediately disqualify.

Song of the Day: Come and See- The Decemberists
So today I begin The I Find Hope Projects biggest event yet. And when I say big, I mean BIG.
Like New Years big.

That's right. New Year's Eve is only two months away (which may seem like a long time, but it really isn't) and The I Find Hope Project is throwing a HUGE bash. Absolutely GINORMOUS HUMONGOUS COLOSSAL TITANIC. Can you guess our theme?

You guessed it. The I Find Hope Project is going GREEN for New Years. This is something you won't want to miss. We're taking over a huge venue to bring you A New Color New Year's Eve Bash. It'll be an evening of music, dancing, food and fun while we do our part to help the environment and ring in the New Year.

Tickets will be sold for this event (we have to pay to rent the venue) but they'll be fairly cheap. (As of right now, they'll be $5, no tax.)

For more information or if you'd like to help with the planning, please contact The I Find Hope Project at ifindhopeproject@yahoo.com.
If your band is interested in performing, please call me at 704.718.2794.

Have a great GREEN day, guys!

Song of the Day: Love Song- Sara Bareilles

Okay, I know you all have spare change. Everyone does. I'm up to my eyeballs in pennies because, let's face it, we just don't use change like we did when we thought the stuff from the quarter machines was quality.
So what do you do with all that spare coinage? I put mine in a bottle. Some leave it in their pockets or purses. Some throw it on the ground.
Well, here's an alternative: donate it. Even if it's just pennies.
World AIDS Day is December 1st (and the unveiling of the Wall of Hope). I'm hoping to also present at least $100 to the ONE Campaign for children in Africa suffering from AIDS.
So here's the plan:
Collect as much change as you can. From anyone you can. Let's see if we can't make just $100. Who knows? We could raise more!
Also, I'm looking for someone to sort of "head up" the project in areas I can't personally reach everyday. This person would be in charge of collecting, counting, and posting the total for each week under this topic. They would hold on to the container that their area used to collect the change. I will, of course, head up the Charlotte area, provide containers, advertisement, ideas, etc. You can even get up a team if you want. See which area can raise the most or something. Get your youth group involved.
If you're interested, please send me a message with your name, email address, and the area you want to cover.
If you want to donate, please email ifindhopeproject@yahoo.com
So go get 'em! I know we can do this!

Song of the Day: Between the Lines- Sara Bareilles

Where do you find hope?

Is it in the breath of a new born child?
Is it in the advance of medicine?
Is it in your religion and the love of your God?

We all have hope. Hope for a better tomorrow. Hope for peace. Everyone has hope for something. And I want to know what you have hope for.

I have hope that one day, we will end the spread of HIV/AIDS. I have hope that one day, hungry children will be fed. I have hope that one day, the naked will be clothed.

I find hope in my friends. In my family. In my neighbors and classmates.
I find hope in music and the message it can bring.

So I have a favor to ask all of you, my friends:
In honor of World AIDS Day, which is this up-coming December 1st, I am creating a Wall of Hope. I call it the “I Find Hope Project”.
It’s really simple. All you have to do is send me something that brings you hope.
It can be a drawing, a photograph, a poem, an awareness ribbon: anything. It doesn’t have to have anything to do with AIDS and it doesn’t have to have your name on it. Please, try to send before December 1st, but I’ll be taking anything for as long as you want to send it. Please help me! Thank you all so much in advance!

For more information and to see how the Wall is coming along, please see

If you’d like to put something on the Wall, please send submissions to:
